Tangible Kingdom
A must read.
This book, written by Hugh Halter and Matt Smay who lead CRM’s Missio team in Denver, (published by Josey-Bass and available on amazon.com), is a challenge to the Christian movement to live out its missional, incarnational calling. It is illustrated with loads of personal experiences from Hugh and Matt’s own journeys as practitioners.
Tangible Kingdom captures the reality of missionality in a moving, practical way.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’m looking forward to reading this book as I am always inclined to hear about pragmatic practices vs. theory based missiology. I’m sure, based on the bits that Amazon gives, this book will only confirm in my heart and fuel my desire to be involved in this new style/form of the church that God has called Brenda and I into. We are just beginning our journey of support raising, in order to join the Brantley’s and Carlson’s in Communitas:New Orleans. I’m looking forward to meeting you in the near future. Will be at the training in August?

Hey Mike:
It’s a good book worth the read …its strength rests in the fact that both Matt and Hugh are practitioners and not just theorists.
We’ll be in Canby in August if that’s what you’re referring to. Hope to see you there. You’re joining a good bunch of folks in New Orleans.
