Ouch! We need to hear thewe words over in every era. The problem is that as a ‘consultant’ Drucker is himself part of the system he decries. Woe is us!

You’re right, Alan. He is (or I should say “was”) on the inside. But that insider’s view not only gave him credibility but also gave him a unique posture from which to make such biting critiques.
